I woke up early this morning to a Viber message from my US-based uncle. It was a single image with this caption: “Inggitin lang kita. Hello from Ipanema Beach, Brazil.” And here below is the aforementioned image:

That really made me bolt right out of bed. What a beautiful sight! (Insert #nofilter right here.)

I replied, “Waaaaaaaaah!!! Looking forward to seeing more pics when you get here. Maybe you can introduce me to a hot single male Brazilian. Hahahaha!”

To which my uncle replied, “I will be in Rio for 3 days, then to Sao Paulo. Daming hottie dito. Magsawa ka.”

HAHAHA! My tito knows exactly what I want. And all I really want as of this writing is to visit Brazil and see Ipanema for myself, and enjoy the three Bs I love: beach, (hot male) Brazilians, and booze. HAHAHAHA!

This is totally in my travel bucket list. And in posting this image, I’m putting it out there in the universe: I’m going to Brazil real soon. No visa required, anyway. Only funds. Haha. It doesn’t have to be for the 2014 World Cup, since I’m not really a football (or sports) fan. Let’s say by April 2016 (since I already said 2015 is for Europe). Lonely Planet says December to March is the best time to go, but that’s when it’s most crowded, too.
