Facebook erupted with Coldplay fans (old and new, hehe) praying for golden tickets to the band’s Asian Tour in April 2017, whose schedules were announced last November 14 with this post:
The band will play stadium shows in five countries, which, hallelujah, includes the Philippines—for the first time ever! A Head Full Of Dreams Tour will also bring Coldplay to Taiwan and South Korea for the first time. Completing the roster of Asian countries are Japan (where they played in 2014) and Singapore (where they last played in 2009). Here’s the complete Asian tour sched:
Sat, April 01 – National Stadium, Singapore, SINGAPORE
Tue, April 04 – MOA Concert Grounds, Manila, PHILIPPINES
Wed, April 12 – Taoyuan HSR, Taipei, TAIWAN
Sat, April 15 – Olympic Stadium, Seoul, KOREA
Wed, April 19 – Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, JAPAN
Tickets go on sale on Nov. 17, today, in Seoul; Nov. 18 in Singapore and Tokyo; and Nov. 24 in Manila and Taipei.

Facebook has been buzzing with Coldplay fans lamenting the ticket prices, cooking up ideas for how they can earn money to watch the concert, and comparing the price of tickets here against those in Singapore and Seoul, where tickets are reportedly cheaper.
But what’s worse than not being able to afford a ticket—or at least the VIP ticket that’s P22,500 a pop—is having or being able to raise the money to buy one and being unable to do so because the concert’s sold out. Even with all these price lamentations, I’m quite sure tickets will still sell faster than the “Speed of Sound.” And then Facebook will once again be filled with posts bemoaning that they weren’t able to get tickets even if they tried.
