Our favorite coffee brand opens the new year with a bang as they introduce new drinks, food, and Starbucks Cards to purchase them with. Whoops, there goes my resolution to go on a diet!

Just as the lines at Starbucks are starting to get not so crazy, now that everybody has at least two planners (hehe—if you still don’t have yours, you have until January 12 to collect stickers!), I think more than the regular coffee lovers will start flocking there again, what with Starbucks’ exciting new opening salvo for 2017. Our go-to coffeehouse has heavenly treats for us, available starting today, January 9, 2017—from its newest Espresso Confections and delectable new and returning favorite food items, to the must-have new Starbucks Cards.
Espresso Confections

Excite your taste buds with the newest Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble, made of espresso, milk, mocha sauce, and toffee nut syrup, then topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, Starbucks Sea Salt, and brownie bits. This is definitely the first one I’ll order!

Those who love the flavor of chestnut should certainly try the Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle—a combination of Starbucks signature espresso, chestnut flavor, and white chocolate sauce, topped with whipped cream and chestnut drizzle.
Both espresso confections are available in hot, iced, and Frappuccino formats for P145 (Short), P155 (Tall), P170 (Grande), and P185 (Venti). They’re only available until February 20, so I’m going to drink the Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble as often as I can, haha.
Delicious new food items & returning favorites

Pair these great beverages with Starbucks’ new featured food items that include desserts like Mango Cake, Vanilla Crepe Cake, Purple Yam Cookie, Chocolate Doughnut Éclair, and Vanilla Doughnut Éclair. Check out the slideshow above for the descriptions and prices of each.

Starbucks also released new food items perfect for any time of day, like the Chicken Pot Pie (P70), a buttery and flaky crust filled with delicious creamy chicken topped with mashed potato; the new, prettier Sausage Roll; and the Longganisa Pandesal (P95), a soft and buttery bun with sautéed garlic Longganisa filling that’s best served warm.

If you’re craving more savory dishes and hearty food items for lunch, they also have Farmer’s Ham & Emmental Cheese on French Baguette or Pork Carnitas Wrap.

I’m also happy to announce that Starbucks Coffee Rolls (P595) are back in a special tin can packaging, perfect for welcoming the Lunar New Year. It’s a new take on the crispy wafer rolls that I’ve loved at first bite, infused with Starbucks Espresso Roast. (And, the tin can will be super useful for keeping knick-knacks—my last one held all my spare tissue paper, haha!)
Make a statement with Starbucks Cards

There’s now a Starbucks Reserve Card, which features the Starbucks Reserve Logo and wordmark in a sleek black background, available for an initial consumable load of P300 only at Starbucks Reserve stores starting today, January 9. Visit this link to see the list of stores. It’s the first Starbucks Reserve Card to be offered in the Philippines.
But what I’m really excited about is the die-cut heart-shaped Valentine’s Card, which comes in five colors, each with a different sweet phrase on it (click through the slideshow below to see all the colors and statements). It’s great for gifting to loved ones this V-Day! It’s available for an initial consumable load amount of P1,000 per card. There’s a purchase limit of two Valentine’s Card per customer, per day—so be among the first to grab it starting February 7, 2017.

Sweet Valentine’s Day promo
As if that’s not a sweet enough treat for V-Day, here’s another deal: Customers who purchase any Espresso Confections (Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble or Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle) beverage on February 14, 2017 will be given a set of Beverage Cup stickers OR a complimentary upsize on their beverage, to be given at the time of purchase in all Starbucks Philippines stores.
