What's up for grabs? Oh, a chance to bike around the country, P100,000 worth of Wrangler products, and the KTM 390 motorbike in this photo.

If only because of this promo, I wish I know how to ride a bike (yes, I know, it’s a little embarrassing). Read on if you’re a lucky one who will be eligible for this travel promo.
Just in time for summer, American denim brand Wrangler launches a digital competition called True Wanderer today, March 19. Since the brand is all about travel and exploration, and with the Philippines being one of their strongest markets, they decided to launch this exciting campaign and include the country in the Asia-Pacific-wide competition along with 11 other countries.

The Philippine leg of the contest is open to all Filipino riders who can post photos of their biking adventures with a story on why they should be chosen as a True Wanderer. Entries will be accepted starting today, March 19, up to April 16. A panel of bike experts and travel enthusiasts in each country will choose 10 rider finalists from the pool of entries. The 10 Filipino finalists will then embark on a five-day journey (scheduled around May 1 to 5, 2015) in selected locales in the country on their bikes while wearing Wrangler’s key items, so they can experience first-hand the jeans that are purposely designed to enhance comfort and style for the open road.

The open roads and interesting spots in the country that the riders will brave and uncover will be announced eventually. Followers of the competition can take part in each contestant’s journey by regularly visiting the True Wanderer microsite (www.wranglertruewanderer.com), which is also where complete details of the contest can be found. The microsite will serve as a travel diary for the contestants, as they document their experiences through a mix of words, photos, and videos.

There will be one winner for the Philippine leg who will bring home a KTM 390 motorbike and P100,000 worth of Wrangler products. He will then become the Philippine representative to the Asia-Pacific-wide competition, where he will go head to head with the 11 other countries’ True Wanderer winners. A bigger prize is in store for the Asia-Pacific champion.

The winner of the Philippine leg will bring home the KTM 390 motorcycle in the photo above plus P100,000 worth of Wrangler products.
For a contest with such great prizes, Wrangler doesn’t even require purchase of their products for you to join. But, just in case you want to get garbed in Wrangler products to channel the Filipino True Wanderer look, they have two new product lines exclusive to the Philippines.
First, they now offer underwear for men, with six collections in various product categories that recently arrived in stores. They even have a fit guide so you can choose what’s most comfortable for you and which suits your style.

There’s also Wrangler’s men’s non-denim line, Timbercreek, launched late last year, which offers guys a diverse selection of comfortable khakis with lighter and breathable fabric technology, perfect for our tropical climate. I got my dad a pair of red Timbercreek pants, and he wears it. All. The. Time. Haha!
