I’ve recently grown attached to a deep red hair color with purple accents, the final product of which is a rich mahogany that has an instant whitening, glowing effect on my skin. As any girl who regularly gets her hair colored knows, colored hair is high maintenance–especially if your preferred color is quite different from your original hair color. The moment unsightly roots start to show, you need to make a trip back to the salon to either have your roots retouched–or have your hair color redone altogether (perhaps to a darker shade close to your natural hair color, if you don’t want to maintain the different hue any longer).
It’s quite fortunate, then, that L’Oreal Professionnel invited me to try their latest advanced hair color technology, which the recently introduced to Park Jun’s Beauty Labs. I got to experience the salon’s Korean hair expertise as I was able to bring my locks back to my desired color with L’Oreal’s INOA hair color.
L’Oreal Professionnel’s INOA is the newest addition to their line of products that provide not just excellent results, but proper care for good-looking hair. The high quality color brand is supposed to give you reinforced coverage of up to 100% of white hair, six weeks of intense hydration and nutrition, supreme respect for hair, and infinite hair color power, with 50% more shine.
I loved the deep red and purple color combination my Korean stylist Lena decided on for my hair. The color is vibrant–a little more vibrant but darker than my original hair color, which I really like–but I didn’t have to suffer through the process, unlike with typical hair color brands. There was a slight itch on certain parts of my scalp during the treatment (which they told me was expected), but generally, there wasn’t any sting. The best part is, it didn’t have that strong, overwhelming smell associated with ammonia. Also, INOA is oil-based–the only oil-based hair color brand out there–and is in fact easy to remove when it touches your skin while you’re getting the color treatment done.
The result? I love how shiny my hair looked after the hair color process. I’ve had my hair color for a little over a week now, and I can say the color is still vibrant, and my hair is soft and shiny. When I rinse my hair after shampooing, I see some color wash out, but I’m guessing this is natural. Hint: Be mindful of wearing white or light-colored shirts when your hair is wet, because there’s a tendency for your hair color to stain your clothes in the first week or so.
